SPEED BASKETBALL TCG

OVERVIEW
Speed Basketball TCG is a fast-paced card game simulating basketball using cards and zones. Players compete to win more turn points (quarter points) than their opponent by the end of the game.RULES AND MECHANICS
Users: 2
Card Types: Player Cards, Asset Cards
Deck Size: 20 cards (8-12 Player cards, Asset cards the rest)
Goal: Win the most turn points by the end of game
Turn Points: 1/1/1/3 (Turns 1-3 gives winner 1 point each, Turn 4 and OTs gives winner 3 points); In a tie, the higher total power wins; if still tied, both users gain the turn point/s
Board Zones: Deck, Court, Discard, Expel
Court Zones: Paint, Mid, 3PT; Win at least 2 court zones to win the turn
Singleton Rule: No duplicate players in a game. Both users send their player list (excluding assets) via chat before start. If both users have the same player (including different variants); (a.) one user can swap that card and restart the game, or (b.) first user to play that player claims the exclusive right in the match. Played duplicate players receives a technical (expel the duplicate player, no substitute = 4v5 that turn)
Hand Size: 7 hand size limit. Draw 7 at the start, refill hand to 7 cards each turn
Tipoff: Both users play their first card face-up and compare positions, higher position (C>PG) wins the tipoff. If tie, compare power and effects. If still tied, compare second cards
Turn Advantage: The user with turn advantage places their cards AFTER the opponent. Tipoff winner has a turn advantage on turns 1 & 4, Tipoff loser has a turn advantage on turns 2 & 3
Player Phase: 5 Player cards per turn requirement. Both users place their players face-down on court zones based on turn advantage
Tech Draw: If not enough player cards (less than 5), show hand to prove and expel 1 to draw 1
Placement/Reveal: Face-Down Placement, Simultaneous Reveal; Vertical for Offense, Horizontal for Defense; Cards can change mode positions (offense/defense mode)
Defense Mode (Horizontal): Cards in Defense Mode can't contribute their power, instead their Defense Mode effects are activated indicated inside the two asterisks (* effects *)
Asset Phase: After Player cards reveal, both users play Asset cards face-up following same turn advantage, alternating one asset at a time
Resolve: Resolve effects. The user that wins more zones wins the turn. Add turn point/s to the winner
End Turn: All cards on court and discard pile shuffled back to deck. Then refill hand to 7 cards to start next turnCARD TYPES
Player Cards: Represent basketball players. Have powers positions, effects, teams
Asset Cards: Represent counters/actions/plays/coaches/fans/items/moments/events/etc. Can't have powers (buffs/debuffs)ARCHETYPES
